Remember when I said it's about accessibility? It's true and there are laws there to protect your rights in relation to accessibility. Those laws include the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA), and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. You might be thinking, why does that matter. Trust me, it does and I want to help you understand these laws so that you can use these laws to protect your rights at school, at work, or even at home. These rights are human rights, civil rights, rights for those with disabilities. Don't settle for less. Expect complete access.
There are several ways we can ensure access. One of those ways is by using accommodations in order to make it easier to access the same information as everyone else. It's also important to understand your rights and what they are, so that you best advocate for them.
